Fees & Insurance

Individual Therapy: Private Pay
My private-pay fee for a 55-minute individual psychotherapy session is $175.
I negotiate fee reductions based on self-reported financial circumstances. I also reserve a few spaces for uninsured or under-insured clients experiencing significant financial hardship.
If you choose to pay privately, Washington State allows clients to opt out of detailed progress notes. This is the most privacy-protective option currently available.
Individual Therapy: Insurance
I accept several insurance plans through Headway, including:
Aetna
Premera Blue Cross
Regence BlueShield
If you use insurance, I will provide the insurance company the diagnostic code(s), treatment plan, and progress notes required to bill your plan.
Pre-Marriage/Pre-Commitment Counseling
I work with couples and polycules prior to marriage or next-level commitment to support a foundation for ongoing relational health. Areas of focus include:
patterns in families of origin
communication and conflict styles and needs
approach to finances
affection and intimacy
co-parenting if applicable
expectations and preferences for mutual support
Sessions are 90 minutes and are scheduled in the evening, usually over a three- to four-month period. Typically this work requires four to six sessions.
This type of counseling is not covered by insurance. The fee per session is $250. I negotiate fee reductions based on self-reported financial circumstances.
